The immersion boiler in the room kept things cozy during my stay in October, creating a warm atmosphere. The location being near a busy road, still managed to allow for a good night's sleep.
The room faced a lively street, resulting in noticeable noise during the night. WiFi connection was spotty at best, making it frustrating to get online. The shower had an unpredictable habit of fluctuating from a dribble to full flow, which was a bit inconvenient.

Despite the cozy feel, the dining experience was marred by confusing menu items and complaints about inadequate portion sizes, leading to disappointment. Unpleasant odors from the restaurant detracted from the enjoyment.

I had a lovely stay in the Ann Boleyn room, which was super cozy and had a fantastic view. There were great chances to relax, especially with the comfy common areas and beautiful garden. The only thing was the lack of a bathroom blind, but that didn't spoil the fun. 👍

the queens was a lovely stay. we enjoyed the ann boleyn room, which had a super comfortable bed and was spotless. the pub downstairs had a friendly atmosphere, and the check-in was welcoming. it's a great value and super close to audley end house and gardens.
